In the Name of God Amen
James Crosbie of Claton township Perry County and state of Ohio- Farmer being vary poorly in body but of perfect mind memory and knowledge. Thanks be given to the allmity god calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die. To make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say Principally, and first of all I give my Body I Recomment to the Earth to be Buried in a decent Christian Buriel at the discression of my Executor Nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall Receive the same gain by the Mighty power of God and as teaching such wordly. Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this Life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following maner adn form - First of all I give and bequeath to Hannah my dearly beloved Wife the whole of my Estate Real and personal while she bears my name or during her natural life which she is to let any of the heirs she many chuse who are to keep her and at her death or no longer bearing my name I do hereby will and bequeth to my son John the sum of one dollar hereby declaring that the same shall be in full of all his claims upon my Estate real and personal and to the whole of the Remaining part of my estate Real and personal is to be equally divided among the Heirs of following to wit: the heirs of Rebecca Cornet dec'd, Isaac Denney, Elizebeath wife of John Morrow, Margaret dec'd wife of John Lisure, Edward Crosbie, Polly wife of Basil Conaway, Katharine wife of Benjamin Nelson, Sarah Crosbie, Hannah wife of Wm. Martin, Nancy Crosbie who are all of the children of my wife-- and at the death of my beloved wife Hannah she may give her bed and house to hold funiture to whom she pleases. And lastly I nominate Constitute and appoint William Martin and Edward Crosbie to be my Executors of this my last will. Herreby revolking all wills legacies and bequests by me heretofore made and Declaring this and no other to be my last will and Testament.
