2. GENERAL JAMES² WELLS (JAMES¹) was born 1672, and died 1771 in Baltimore, MD.

Notes for GENERAL JAMES WELLS:
Some records of births and deaths of their children appear in St. Pauls Church in Baltimore. One record stated he lived at Gwinn's Falls, MD and died in 1771 at the age of 93. Another record stated he served in the French and Indian War between France and England in the U.S. between 1754 and 176?. He is called "General James Wells" on his tombstone, but it is not found in the records that he held such a position. It was perhaps an honorary title, which often occurred in those days.
