I am researching GRAYS from Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada; COGSWELLS from New Brunswick & Maine; ADCOCKS and MIMMACKS from Grimsby, Lincolnshire Co. England; SHELDONS from Bennington County, VT; WELCHES from Londonderry, N. Ireland; WELCHES & LYONS from Trumbull County, OH; LAURENCES (or LAWRENCES)and DRINKALLS from W. Gwillimbury Twp, Simcoe Co. Ontario and St. Marys, PA; KENNARDS from Loddiswell, S. Devon, England and St. Marys, PA; MAXWELLS (from Scotland)& CAMPBELLS (from Londonderry Ireland)and from Plaingrove Twp, Lawrence County, PA.
My GGGF Norman J. Maxwell was a Colonel of the 100th Penn. Vol. Inf. Regmt. Another GGGF Charles G. Sheldon was a private in the 5th Vermont Vol. Inf. Regmt. I am also a descendant of John Howland, original Pilgrim on the Mayflower, and English-born John Cogswell, who was shipwrecked off Pemaquid, Maine in the "Angel Gabriel".

I am stuck on my attempt to get useful information about generations going back to Ireland and Scotland. These puzzle pieces are my greatest needs. The England connection is more complete. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
