Mahal(Mayhall) Wells 1822-1902 Lived in Big Stone Gap, Wise Co migrated to Owingsville, Ky in 1865 then to Breathitt Co in 1890.
He is the son of Zachariah & Rebecca Wells, Wise Co., Va.
Mahal married Lavinia Stidham.
Children: Melissa, Rachael, Sarah, Ira, Mary J., Rebecca, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, Jeremiah, Abagail, and Zachariah.
Mahal was a Doctor of Herbal Medicine, source: Medical Registry, Bath County, KY, and he stated that his father, Zachariah Wells, is from Virginia.
Looking for information on Mahal's family. Big Stone Gap, Va. and North Carolina.
In addition I am researching the BERRYMAN - BRANHAM Family.
