* Frances (West) Wells - Surrey, B.C.Canada*

Updated March 7, 2007

My research into my ancestors and that of my family has taken some time and I have used what other distant relatives have found out in their research. I have used Family Tree Maker to put the information into an easily followed volume. The Appel side (my Mother's father's side) the Petersen side (my Mother's
Mother's side)and the West side (most information was received
from a Man in England who found information of my Father's relatives in England The Appel's and the Petrsen's emigrated to
the United States from Wolferborn Germany and from Denmark
and settled in and around Tama, the earlier Appel's emigrated to New York City. Richard West did not have any information on his ancestors so what was gleaned by a researcher in York is all
I have. I have much more,to find out about my Father's family
tree and am now stsrting on my late husband's family tree most
of the information re that family is from Ontario where his Grandfather,George Wells settled after leaving England in the early 1900's.

My Dad joined the Canadian services in WW1 as he was living in
Montreal at that time. Where his mother. Fannie Maria Wsst,
was he didn't know. His mother married a James Bell in 1889. my
Dad was born in Chelsea London in 1886. Who his father was he
never told us. I know he lived in Saffron Walden with his mother
and went to school there. His friend Dolly Cornell who was a school friend of his told me when i visited her in England.
