| I am just getting started on researching the Arnold family. Joseph William Arnold was a Domestic Chauffeur in Banstead, Surrey, England in 1912 before going to France in World War 1 then being sent to Gallipoli, Turkey on April 14 1915. He died there September 2 1915. He was a private, but his widow was given officer widow's pension, but I don't know why. I am also interested in Arthur William Figg (known as Price). He was married to Isabella Hendrick, they had a daughter, Audrey in 1888. They also had 2 other daughters Isabella and Violet and a son Arthur. Arthur senior was a Stud Farm Manager for Lord Dunraven in Ireland around 1912-1916 then for Lord and Lady Nelson in Ireland then England where he died in 1925. |
