| I am currently researching my family trees for SIWIEC,SMIALEK, WORATSCHEK, STOCK, POHRER, AMBROSIO, WELCH, FINN,WILKE and KIRCHNER.
Valenty Siwiec lived in Small Poland with his 2nd wife: Sophie Lochol. One of his many children, Wojciech Siwiec, also known as George Siwiec lived in Perth Amboy New Jersey with his wife Mary Smialek. Wojciech was my grandfather. Since I was told he came from a large family, I would love to obtain information regarding his siblings etc so I can possibly meet cousins of mine.
John Woratschek was born in Boehmen, Koenigreich, Austria. He married Mary Kunz, daughter of Peter Kunz and Barbara Weinstein. They settled in Pittsburgh, PA. One of their children, Charles Woratschek, was my grandfather. He married Anna Stock, daughter of George Stock and Johanna Pohrer. Johanna Pohrer's parents were Joseph and Maggie Pohrer. Charles and Anna also resided in Pittsburgh before moving to New Jersey. They had four girls. Their 2nd, Mary Woratschek is my mom who married Jacob Siwiec.
Giuseppe (Joseph) Ambrosio was born in Italy and was married to Maria Giuseppa Tamilio . Joseph came to America and remarried Emma since Maria Giuseppa refused to come to the USA. He settled in Jersey City, NJ. Joseph had one son by his wife in Italy named Anthony. He had several other children with his wife in the USA. Anthony worked for PATH in Jersey City, NJ. He married Anna Maria Ragni and they had one son. Their son Joseph was my 1st husband.
Bernard Welsh came to America during the Potato famine in Ireland. He was born in April of 1860. His parents were James Welch and Margaret Burns. Bernard married Mary Catherine Kane between 1882 and 1883. Mary was born in New Jersey in March of 1871. They had four children and settled in in the Middletown area of Monmouth County, NJ. Their 2nd child, Thomas Francis Welsh was born August 29, 1886. Thomas was my husband's grandfather. Thomas married Margaret Finn, and his son, Bernard C Welch (also known as "Uncle Barney") is my father in law. Some of the family also moved to and settled in Vermont.
Michael Finn was born in 1790 in Ireland and married Margaret Callaghan (born in 1799). They were my 2nd Husband's Great-Great grandparents. Their child, Patrick Finn married Catherine Crean, daughter of Michael Crean. Their daughter, Margaret Finn married Thomas Francis Welch - see above.
Albert Wilke married Elise Wermert. They lived in the German Empire. Their daughter, Ella Wilke, was born June 10, 1898 also in Germany. She married Alfred Kirchner, son of Albert Kirchner and Malwine Link. Alfred and Ella Kircher resided in Atlantic Highlands, Monmouth County, New Jersey. They had only one child, Clair Ellen Kirchner who married Bernard C Welch. Clair is my mother in law.
Albert & Malwine Kirchner also lived in the German Empire. Their son, Alfred Kirchner was born in Seerappen, Germany. He was my husbands grandfather. Alfred had one brother, Henry Kirchner. Henry was married to Connie and lived in Hempstead, Long Island, New York.
If anyone has information regarding any of the above surnames, I would greatly appreciate any information you could share.
