This is the family history of Nicola Wells nee Brookes and her ancestors and descendants. It is the sum of six years research so far although there is much to be done. I hope that my descendants will continue this research in the future.
The majority of my ancestors are from the midland and southern counties of Great Britain although one Irish ancestor has been traced.
Many secrets have come to light in the gathering of this information and I am still hopeful of finding a half sister that I was not aware of until the 1990s. Any information re Barbara Brookes born Oct 1936 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk would be gratefully received.Known to have lived in Wembley, London in early 1950s. UPDATE Jan 2009 : Sister Barbara located to Vancouver Island Canada just 2 weeks after her death! I feel fortunate to now know a little bit more about her life and death.
