| Our family originated from central Europe, many perished during the 2nd world war, a few escaped to the UK where the family continues today. It has been very difficult to trace far back due to so many being killed in 1939-45 I am always trying to find new roots and contacts so our family now and in the future understand where they came from. Surnames in our tree include; munk, popper, frank, austerlitz, weinberg - most lived in and around Vienna before the war.
