I am researching into my Skelton/Emmerson family Tree which includes all other related families of the Burrell, Farrow, Flatt, Grint,Jacobs, Payne, Rogers, Sampson, Stokes and Webster.

The Skeltons were from Cumberland consisting of Miners & blacksmiths. Emmersons were from Norfolk, Slough and East London and were mainly important carpenters they became related to the Sampsons who were timber merchants and supplied the Emmersons with their timber.
Websters were from Scotland and the other families were mainly farmers in East Anglia.
