An ongoing process for which there is never enough time, the search for where we come from now employs DNA and so will direct with certainty any future searches. The ephemeral nature of record keeping materials yet implores us to speed our search.
Confirmed by this new process to be a descendant of William Wells of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, I'm delighted to share what little I have of our History and would entertain any new information.
This very day word reaches me that an elderly gentleman in France seems to share our DNA and that his branch left England over 100 years ago. Orin Wells of the Wells Family Research Assoc. has been a blessing for we Wells' researchers and to firm the family tree prior to Williams immigration to the New World by linking with certainty a path before that circa 1640 landing would be a blessing I'd not considered do-able in my lifetime.
