I am researching the BANKS family beginning with JAMES BANKS b. 1704 in Virginia, followed be DAVID BANKS b. bef 1732 in Virginia, RIVERS BANKS SR b. abt 1750 in Virginia, RIVERS JR b. abt 1777 in So. Carolina and RIVERS JOHN BANKS b. 1807 in So. Carolina.
Future generations migrated to Kentucky, Kansas and Colorado.

Related families are the PENRODS from Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Kansas. Also the OWENS family from Kentucky and Kansas and the Travis family.
