Welch Family Home Page

Names connected to my Welch family research are: Shropshire, Thornton, Brown ; places of residence are GA, TX, OK, AL. I am currently trying to locate any information on C.P. Welch (b.1835, 1860 census has him and his wife Mary Ann 'Shropshire' in Tallapoosa Co., AL - They had two children that are known: Susan B:1857 and Mose Walton B:1868. He enl. in the Confed. Military at Montgomery, AL and also owned land there. Mose Walton Welch starts his family with wife Dora Thornton in San Saba, TX - Any help will be appreciated. Would love to share any info I have also.
