I haven't put all the data I've found at my Hyde site yet. This is a work in progress. I'd rather learn more, then spend alot of time getting it down. I have found links just recently that take the family line back from my grandfather, Ariel Perry Hyde & beyond immigration to 1070 in England.
I am planning to have a Hyde Family Reunion in celebration of my Parent's 50th Anniversary and my Aunt's 80th birthday in 2005. It will be very special. My grandparents died when my father and his siblings were small children. They were only together as a whole once, in 1977. Now two brother's and 2 half brothers and a half sister are gone.
I would like to locate the descendants of my Great Uncle, John A. Hyde. It would be a dream come true for my dad, Aunt & Uncle to actually meet their cousin's. They lost touch following the death of their parents.
John A. Hyde was born about 1901. He married first 1) Sibyl Bulker Grove of California, at Cohasset, Maine. She died, then he married again about 1928 to 2) Marjorie Thomson. He served in the US Navy. He was in the Seabee program. He worked in the logging industry while living in Oregon (near Medford in 1930.) He lived in Eugene, Oregon in the Early 1940's. He moved to Kodiak, Alaska before 1946. A deceased Uncle has told us he later moved to Flordia. He was said to have had 5 children. Two of them were Thomas b. abt. 1948 and Charlene b. abt. 1949. I would expect John & Marjorie to be deceased by now, but would very much like to meet their children.
