The Hillgameyers of Illinois

This is just the beginning of my research into the Hillgameyers and Schwartzs in my ancestory. I still have many mysteries to solve and many more years of research ahead of me. I also am continuing to search for information on the Chewnings, Balls, and Blakeys and I fear my endeavors to secure documentation may never end.

With the help of other family researchers (The Chewnings, Balls and Blakey's) as well as my personal research in Southern Illinois for the Hillgameyers and Schwartzs I have compiled this family history. I have been fortunate that other people have provided information from there own searches. I could never have accomplished what I have if not for those researchers willing to share their information. It is my hope that my findings may help someone else attempting to gather information on their family.

I, of course, welcome any information or assistance from other researchers.
