I am resurching the history of Michael Johann Werner b.Feb. 20 1745 in Herbstadt Germany.He married Margaret Zwerlein bef. 1779, had son Christopher b. 16 may 1791 Christopher had six childern.Christopher came to the USA in about 1845. Three grandson came over in 1845-1847 Christopher Jr., Kasper, and Michael Joseph and posibible a grandaughter Thersia, Thersia may have been married to a Schneburger
They settled in Elk County Penn. Christopher Sr. is buried in St. Marys, Penn. Christopher Jr. is buried in Iowa. and Kasper is buried in South Dakota. The wereabouts of Michael and Thersia I do not know.
Michael married Anna Brechtel, their first child Sophia was born in 10.15.1854 D.12.4.1854, 2. John b.6.23.1856, 3. Frank b. 1.9.1859, 4. Maria Magdaline b.7.18.1860, 5. Casper b. 1861 d. 9.26.1863,6.George b.3.10.1864,7.Michael b.4.11.1866, 8. Anthony b. 4.17.1866 9. Joesph Joannes b.3.7.1869
