He married Lethia A. Beardsley on Jul 14, 1872 in Byron, Shiawassee County, Michigan, daughter of Orange H. Beardsley.
Notes for Daniel Allen Kenyon: At the time of his death, Daniel was the oldest resident of Vernon, Michigan and was the next to last surviving veteran of the Civil War in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Military Campaign served in: battles of Knoxville, Strawberry Plains, Sweet Water, Carter Station, Greenville and Salisbury, N.C. Honorably discharged, November 11, 1865, in Nashville, Tenn.
