WELCOME TO THE BARKER AND ALLIED FAMILIES HOME PAGE. Our earliest Barker ancestoris George Barker, b ca 1730 and d abt 1806 in Wilkes Co., NC. He had three known sons, George Jr., Hezekiah and John. George Barker, Sr. was living in Wilkes Co., NC in 1778 until his death abt 1806. The Barkers later removed to the Eastern Kentucky area abt 1827. Other surnames I am researching: ADKINS, BOGGS, CAINS, CARTER, CLICK, COCKE/COX, COTHRON, DRAKE, FLANNERY, GRAY, HUNTER, LEACH, MCCONNEL, MCMILLEN, MIDDLETON, PORTER, ROBERTS, SEBASTIAN, SIMMONS, SKAGGS/SCAGGS, SPARKS, STAFFORD, WAGGONER/WAGONER, WHISMAN AND WILSON OF EASTERN KY, NC, PA, TN, AND VA AREAS.
