1748, June 5: Holland Middleton, planter and Sarah his wife sold 60 acres "Long Point" to John Tolson, innholder (PGLR T.590)
1770/1771 .. Listed under "Georgia Pioneers" Vol 7 page 84 under Genealogy.com Petitions for Land-Augusta Area-1744/1773 .. Holland Middleton Sr was granted town lot #81 in the Quaker Reserve (some being Quakers, some being approved to become settlers in Wrightsboro Township). He petitioned for 400 Acres. Also on page 84 it lists Holland and Robert Middleton under the paragraph which reads .. May 1771: Following persons had land surveyed for them but have left the province. If they do not return by Jan 2, 1772, land will be forfeited. (Note: many had fled because of Indian troubles, some had died, some returned to try again). Names shown included Holland Middleton Sr. and Robert Middleton.
1770 .. Listed under genealogy.com in "They Were Here" Vol I pages 56-57, which listed Quaker settlers. It is stated: Duffie County, Early Deeds, Wills and Administrations for these Quaker setters may be found in the records of Richmond and Bolumbi Counties: About 1803 most of these Quakers moved on to various Monthly Meetings in Ohio.
By 1840-1845 Wrightsboro had become on of the "dead" towns of Georgia. The meeting house is gone and only unmarked fieldstones remain in the cemetery.

Witness 1: 1758, VA, Loudoun Co, Holland served as witness to a deed between brothers Newdigate Owsley to William Owsley.16 Witness 2: 1795, Newdigate Owsley performed the estate inventory of Holland in GA, Hancock Co.17
