Henry H. Allen (son of Thomas Allen and Dority Dolly Murray) was born October 22, 1840 in Houston County, Georgia, and died November 06, 1923 in Davis, Murray County, Oklahoma. He married Amy C. ?.
Notes for Henry H. Allen: Henry was a private in civil war on May 11, 1861. He was discharged, disability on July 5, 1862. Reenlisted June 22, 1863. Roll for December 31, 1864, last on file, shows him present. No further information on military service.
Henry is unaccounted for from 1865 to 1880.
The 1880 census finds him in Kimble County, Texas as a boarder on the farm of Bruno J. McKeever. He lists his occupation as stock raiser.
By June of 1900, Henry and his family are in Davis township, Indian Territory, Chickasaw Nation. They are operating a small hotel/boarding house on First street in Davis.
