Calvin Houston Felkner (son of Henry Felkner and Mary Ann Wall)6 was born March 10, 1829 in Wilson County, Tennessee, and died Bet. 1912 - 1913 in Washita ,Oklahoma. He married Permelia Emaline Thompson on 1852 in Bedford County, Tennessee.
Notes for Calvin Houston Felkner: Calvin enrolled in Perry County, Illinois September 11, 1862 as a Private in Murphy's Company D, 110th Regiment, Illinois Infantry Volunteers. He was promoted to Corporal. At the time of his enlistment he was five feet nine inches tall, had a dark complexion, grey eyes, dark hair and was a farmer. He was discharged June 8, 1865 in Washington D.C. After his discharge, he lived in Ozark County, Missouri from 1867 to 1876, Dallas County, Texas from 1876 to 1903 and in Washita County, Oklahoma from 1903 until his death. At the time of his Pension Application, his address was Sentinel, Oklahoma. He served in ordinance as a Kanester.
