Our family is comprised of the Boyds from Tennessee (somewhere in the Clarksburg area) and the Rooks of Mississippi (unsure of area). We are having our 2nd family reunion in Houston, Texas from July 20-23, 2000. We are still in a learning, searching process. Right now we have bits and pieces of family history, i.e. copies of the 1900 census for Chickasha, Oklahoma and the 1910 census for Brinkley, Arkansas as well as a pictures and a few death certificates. I am particularly interested in slave records for Frank Boyd and his siblings of Tennessee. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. |
