August 2014 still researching...June, 2011 Today I was notified by another cousin that someone had quite a bit of information on their public trees pertaining to what appears to be our Payne family. I searched and found their trees with information and pictures of our Payne family that came directly from this webpage. They have a picture of our Grandpa Charlie listed as the original Charles E who was born in 1846? It took me over 10 years to find out where our ggreat grandmother had died, and where Uncle Harry "Chip" Payne had died, and where they are both buried. They have used the information without one word of credit as to where this information came from, or the pictures either for that matter. If you use any information on this page at least have the class to credit the page. Any person who has a question on this research can contact me, my email is right up front.
