The Wheat reunion photo was taken around 1901. Their are names and ages on the bottom that are hard to read, but Joseph is listed as 61. He
was born in 1840. This is his family: his children, their spouses and children. Joseph is the older gentleman seated in the middle and wife Mary is seated next to him holding a photograph of son LeRoy Haven Wheat. George Guy, 26 is standing behind Joseph. Seated in front of George is Fred Caldwell; standing left of Fred is John Robert, 20; seated left of John is Albert Joseph, 23; to the right of Mary, 59 is Laura Emily (my great-grandmother), 33 holding her son Fred,1; seated in front of Laura is Bartley Foster, Eva's husband holding one of their sons; seated in front of Bart is his wife Eva May; to the left of Bart is seated William Foster, 31, Laura's husband (my Great-grandfather) holding his son Floyd, 5; seated to the left of William, I believe, is Fred's wife (my captions are cut off); Ben Foster, 10 stands to the right of his father Bart and Ben's sister Jessie Foster is seated in front of him; standing behind Jessie is Bessie Eleanor, 18; to the right of Bessie is Leora Maye, 2 seated on the railing next to her father Benjamin Patterson, 30; standing behind Bessie is Maye Baker, 26 Ben's wife. Bart and Bill Foster were brothers, so their children were referred to as "double cousins". They looked more like siblings than cousins. Courtesy of JoEllen Meuninck & Guy Wheat.
