| We are looking for information on several lines in our families. On Grady's side we are looking for the parentage of Mary Lou (not sure if Lou is correct middle name) Chaffin, born circa 1842, died January 13, 1876 in Jasper, Newton Co, AR. She was the spouse of John David Nixon. We are also looking for information on Lucinda Curnett (Curnutt) Powers White. She was born December 12, 1846 in Campbell County, TN. She was married to William Powers, widowed, and then married William Simeon White October 2, 1873. We can find no record of her death or where she might be buried. We did find that William White remarried in the late 1880's. We are not sure if Lucinda died prior to that time or if she and William divorced and she died later, perhaps in OK. We are also looking for information on Nancy Adeline Harp, wife of James Cecil. She was born circa 1832 and James, son of Joseph Cecil and Margaret Penn, was born in 1830. On Jane's side, we are looking for information on Harry Mathew Lawlor, born in Michigan, May 29, 1891. He died October 29, 1951. His father, Harry Joseph Lawlor was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and his father, also Harry was born in Ireland. We are also trying to find the exact parentage of Frederick D. Kilpatrick, born September 1, 1858 in New York, died May 10, 1938 in Jackson, Michigan. According to his death certificate, his father was Joseph and his mother was Maria. |
