3. CHRISTOPHER² MOORE (JAMES FITZPATRICK¹) was born Abt. 1787 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and died Abt. 1860 in Lewis County, Kentucky. He married MARY AUXIER October 05, 1808 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of MICHAEL AUXIER and JEAN LOVEBATHY.

Living in Floyd Co., Ky in 1799.

The Point of the Forks, envisioned as a real estate dealer's dream, retained its geographic importance. When East Kentucky split into Greenup and Floyd counties in 1803 the boundary was drawn from the river there, a line which was later to become Louisa's Main Street. After the Indian harassment died down, pioneers began to settle slowly. In 1800 there were only 478 counted in all of Floyd County; in 20 years, just before it split into Lawrence, Pike, and Perry, the figure soared to 8,200.
The record books of Floyd County give indication those who settled in the northern segment came to stay, and assigned them road-building responsibilities. Christopher More, on George's Creek...--"Lawrence County A Pictorial History" by George Wolford 1750-1822 Pg. 7
