| I believe I have created (and continue to build on) the most extensive single file containing most of the immigrant families of the Deutsch Fork. To date I have over 258,000 individuals listed in my master file. All of these individuals are connected either by blood or by marriage. The family names include: AMICK,Aull,BEDENBAUGH,BOLAND,BOOKMAN,BOUKNIGHT,Bobb,BOWERS,BUNDRICK,Cannon, Chapman,COOK,CORLEY, Counts, Cromer, CROUT, DERRICK, Dickert, DOMINICK, Eargle, EICHELBERGER, Epting, FOLK, FULMER, FREE, FRICK, Haltiwanger, Kesler, Kibler, Kinard,KOON, Lever, LINDLER, LIVINGSTON, Lominick, LONG, Lybrand, McCARTHA, Meetze, Merchant, Miller, MONTS, Richardson, Rikard, Rister, Roof, SEASE, SETZLER, SHEALY, SLIGH, Suber, SUMMER, Stoudemire, Swittenburg, Wertz, WESSINGER, WHITE, WICKER, WINGARD, WISE, and many other names and their variations, common to the "Dutch Fork" area of South Carolina. (Names in ALL CAPs indicate extensive family lines or inclusion of a major pulication on that family). So if you are researching any of the families that originated in the Deutsch Fork area and want to share information please contact me. Or if you just want to know who that "unknown" Lindler, Boland, Frick or Free was that married your great Aunt, TRY ME, I might just be able to help you. I would appreciate some help with Whitaker family. I still need to locate the ancestors of James Whitaker (born ca 1820 in Georgia and died June 11, 1865 in Lexington, South Carolina) He was married to Anna Crim born ca 1825. (children were John Wesley, Hilliard G., Henry E., Polly, Jacob M. and James). From the mid 1800's the Whitaker family and descendants have lived in the areas of Southern Lexington and Calhoun Counties. The Lindler and Boland families (my core families dating back to the immigrants from Germany in 1754 and 1775)and those into which they married continues to grow daily. I have quite a bit of information on these families, but always appreciate UPDATES and ADDITIONS. I would appreciate any help in determining the family and ancestors of: CATHERINE BOZARD(Bozardt/Buzhardt); ca 1790-1850, was married to Jacob Lindler III. and was my 3d g-grandmother. As always I wish to express my appreciation to those who have helped me. Especially to all the members of the Dutch Fork Chapter of the SC Genealogical Society. I am pleased to announce that work on an updated book of the Boland family is officially under way and going very well. I would like to thank all those who have and will be sending in their family information. Cousin Ernest P. Boland has made new contacts in Germany and has received new information on the family of Johann Heinrich Bohland and our German Cousins. He is much deserving of our appreciation for his untiring efforts. If anyone knows of any of our Mississippi cousins that would be able to help me I'd appreciate contact information.
