Floyd W. EVANS
Floyd EVANS, 74 of 4754 W. National Rd., died at 10:15 a.m., Monday in Community Hospital after several months of illness. Mr. EVANS, a life resident of Clark County, was born Aug 9, 1903, a son of Henry and Lena SHROADES EVANS. He was a retired farmer and former owner and operator of Evans Barber Shop. He was also a member of the Central United Methodist Church, St. Andrews Lodge No. 619 F, and A.M. Valley of Dayton, Scottish Rite and the Antioch Temple, Ancient Order of the Shrine. Survivors include his wife, Madge CUMMINGS EVANS, one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Patti) BOWEN of North Rose, NY and two granchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Corrinne MARTIN, Springfield. His body was taken to the Littleton Funeral Home where friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held there at 10 a.m.Thursday in charge of Rev. Herbert E. Massey, pastor of the Central United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Community School of Nursing.

HENRY
M. EVANS
Henry M. EVANS, 63 a resident of Springfield for more than 50 years, died in his home at 1803 ½ W. Main st. at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday after a two-week illness. He had been in failing health for five years. Mr. Evans is survived by his widow,Lena B., one daughter, Mrs. Raymond B. Martin, two sons, Harry M. and Floyd W.; and two grandchildren, Maxine Evans and Jack MARTIN, all of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Etta WARNER, Dayton, and Mrs. Edna MILLER, Mulligan, Mich., and Homer EVANS, Grand Rapids, Mich. Mr. Evans was a retired merchant. He was born in North Lewisburg, Nov. 9, 1872 and came to Springfield a few years alter. The body was taken to the Littleton Funeral Home.

Belle SHROADES EVANS
Mrs. Lena B. EVANS, 85, died at 6:06 p.m. Saturday in the home of her son, Floyd W. Evans, 4540 W. National Rd. She had been ill for the past six years. Mrs. Evans, a member of Central Methodist Church, was born in Cedarville, Ohio, on Feb 14, 1870, the daughter of George and Anna FEASTER SHROADES. Her husband, Henry M. Evans, died May 13, 1936. In addition to her son, Floyd, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Corrinne MARTIN of Springfield; one other son, Harry M. EVANS of Springfield; three grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. The body was taken to Littleton's funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Glade L. McClish, associate pastor of the Central Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

CORRINNE F. MARTIN, 94, formerly of Springfield, died Monday, August 23, 1993, in Pensacola, Florida. She was born December 27, 1898, in Springfield, the daughter of Henry M. and Lena (SHROADES) EVANS. Mrs. Martin was a lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church, charter member of the Ohio State Mother's Club of Springfield, Past Parent Teachers Association Presidents Association, Mother Singers Club, and the Fortnightly Musical Society. Her survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Barbara (FOLEY) MARTIN; four grandchildren, Chris MARTIN and wife, Phylomena of Los Angeles, California, Steve MARTIN and wife, Judi, of Dallas, Texas, Jane MARTIN CUNNINGHAM of Orlando, Florida, Suzy MARTIN PETERSON and husband, Steve of Vero Beach, Florida; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond MARTIN in 1972. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Littleton and Rue Funeral Home with Rev. Joyce E. Fry of Central United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions be made to the Central United Methodist Church Organ Fund.
