March 28, .1803. By Virtue of part of a Land Office Treasury Warrant No. 2615 dated Dec. 29th, 1798 entered March 25th 1783 I have Surveyed for John Foley a tract of land in Hampshire County on Long Ridge and waters of Mill Creek bounded as follows Viz/ <1>Beginning at a white oak on the top of the long ridge on the S E side of the Fort Pleasant Road corner to Henry Purget: thence with his line S65E 52 ps to <2> a white oak and a red oak on a hill side corner to said Purget thence S24 (degrees) W92 ps to <3> a pine and two white oaks; thence S 64 E 66 ps to <4>two white oaks and a gum on a hill side thence S 25 E74 ps to <5>two white oaks and a gum on the bank of a small branch; thence N 78 E 26 ps to <6>a small white oak in Isaac Vanmeter’s line thence with it S 30 W6 ps to <7>a hickory by a branch corner to said Vanmeter continued with his lines S 76 (degrees) E 10 p: to <8>a white oak and two gums thence S60(degrees) E28 ps to <9>a white oak in said Vanmeter’s line thence leaving it S 12 W 26 ps to <10>two white oaks in Henry Heinzman’s line thence with it N 61 W 250 to <11>two white oaks on a hill side near the great road corner to said Heinzman and John Foley thence with Foley’s lines crossing the road N 24 E 12 ps to <12>two white oaks thence S 50(degrees) W 156 ps to <13>a white oak and walnut at the foot of a hill 4 p: West of a ridge lick in said Foley’s line thence leaving it N 10 E 60 ps to <14>two white oaks thence N 26 E 66 ps to a <15>white oak by a branch the course continued in all 96 ps to two white oaks by a branch of Mill Creek, thence N 77(degrees) E 40 p. to <16>a parcel of red oak saplings by a drain, thence S 36 E 165 ps. to the Beginning. Containing two hundred and fifty acres.
