Mary Belle (1856-1944) was the daughter of Alonzo and Mary (Alt) Rice. Alonzo was the son of Edward Rice. Mary Alt was the daughter of Adam Alt and Maria Drew. Both early settlers of Clark County. Mary Belle Rice married Wesley McDonald (his first wife having died some years before). They had 3 children, Arthur, Fred W. and Flora Belle. Arthur married May McIntire, Fred married Ethel Bell (they both died in 1939 & 40, no children). Arthur and May had 1 child, Clara Belle who married Stanley Morsbach-Springfield. Flora married Arthur Foley and their only child was Barbara Lou who married Jack A. Martin.
