I and several relatives are researching the Connerley/connelley/conley lines from Ireland.I alone have found my family listed numerous ways including Kennearley, canarly. The correct spelling is Connerley which means in Ireland son of conner.there are also numerous other family lines connected to the connerley's.Some of them are listed on my family charts, the charts are not completed,as i have much more information not detailed yet. This is actually just the beginning. For example on my mothers fathers side of the family the family name of Litton goes back to 939 a.d. in England. It would take me several hours if not days to enter.Anyone needing infor on any of the lines i have listed please feel free to contact via e-mail or snail-mail.There is a Connerley Family reunion every May in Mitchell,Indiana any and all connerleys are invited it is a pitch-in dinner. Our John Connerley lived in N.carolina for years and most of his and Marthas children were born there. Most of the children came with him and Martha to Indiana but some stayed behind. The copy of a picture i have of Jesse Connerley, son of John looks a lot like the former governor of texas John Connelley.Could be! Happy Hunting.
