The Lori family can be traced back to Germany. It is my goal to follow my family roots as far as I can, hopefully until there just aren't any records left. I am currently following other branches of my family and the records of those who have married into my family. I'm so surprised and pleased to have gotten this far! I am also fortunate to have my great-grandfather and some great-aunts living to increase my data. The information they have added is priceless. I would never have gotten so far without them. Through my family's records, I even found census records where our family name had been mis-spelled. It was a wonderful feeling to find these people and know, through information of children and birthdates, that I had found ancestors.
I am also researching my other branch, the Wicke family. I don't have a lot of information, as I am out of touch with this side. I hope through investigating and good luck to find out more!
There is also a branch of the Shaw family, through an uncle, that I have included. All of this research was already done through his aunt, so it was easy for me to add his family.
Last, but not least, I have added my soon-to-be husband's family, or what I have so far. The Zollman family goes back to the 1600's, and much of this work was already done as well. It seems I am getting everyone's family tree expanded but my own! Through his mother, I also have quite a lot of the Singleton family as well. They actually have a book with the lineage researched way back! Lucky!
