Charlotte Quaife was born in Chatham, Kent, England in 1827. She married Thomas Wickenden in Bethel Chapel, Rochester, England, in 1849. After Thomas' death in 1861, she brought her three sons James (b. 1851), Thomas Rogers (b. 1853) and Robert John (b. 1861) to Ohio, USA. She died in Toledo, Ohio in 1904.
