Both documents were double checked and the spelling is indeed Sigel and Sigler. They are linked together by the house and land records in their inventories. The description of the location of the house and three pieces of the land is either the same or very similar in both inventories. Maria Sigler (Siegel) married Mathis Kieffer in the mid 1690's. In another inventory written in 1710, a piece of land owned by Maria Sigler in 1707 matches a piece of land described as belonging to "Maria, Daughter of Hans Sigel" ].

In 1702 Maria's older brother's Johann and Jacob are listed as burghers but not her younger brother. No guardian for Maria or her younger brother is listed but that is probably because my researcher forgot to name the guardian. It is impossible that three children would become major of years in just three years. So Maria is probably about 18 years old in 1702. So she was born about 1684.
