Inventory and description of the property left by deceased the honorable Conrad Beck, in his life a burgher in the village of Soufflenheim, what he left to his dear children as named below in year after Christ birth 1740.

Inventory and description of all mobiliary and immobiliary left by deceased the honorable Conrad Beckh, former burgher here in Soufflenheim where he died, established on the request of 1) Mathis Beckh, right honorable burgher in Soufflenheim also resident, son of the deceased and in name of all this brothers and sisters named below ; in presence of Philips Kieffer provost, Andres Vögele and Antoni Jäck both members of the local justice, as witnesses.

Established in Soufflenheim 14 October in year 1740.

THE HOUSE
Same. One house and dependences, in the village of Soufflenheim in district “in der Steig”(on the slope). One side Mathis Beck son, other side Adam Köhlhoffer, behind on Hans Georg Keÿsser, and for a part on Georg Kieffer, in front the common street.

This house and rights has been left to the youngest son, Johannes Beck, for an estimate of 200 G, so that he will pay back for this to his brothers and sisters their share from St. Martin’s day in year 1741 and precisely:
To Mathis Beck: 33 g 3 s 4 d
To Maria: 33g 3 s 4 d
To Magdalena: 33 g 3 s 4 d
To Catharina: 33 g 3 s 4 d
To Maria: 33 g 3 s 4 d
His own share being also: 33 g 3 s 4 d

Same : Hans Georg Kieffer has bought for the estimate : one iron pan and two iron spoons, one fork, for : 1 G

Same two old pans have been bought for the estimate by Frantz Vögele for: 7 s
And so he gives to each child: 1 s 2 d
Same one copper cauldron has been bought by Frantz Vögele for the estimate or 2 g 1 s

6 old small vats have been divided among the children themselves.
Same. One chest with locks has been left to son Johannes Beck for the estimate with one stand with key both : 2 g 5 s

Same : Found about 3 measures of hay which have been divided by the heirs among themselves.
Same. 10 measures of hay stocked in Heinrich Schidt’s barn have been divided equally between the heirs themselves

CATTLE
Same. Two cows and one 1/2 old calf : those have been left to Frantz Vögele for the estimate or: 21 G
And he will pay to each child his share.
Same. Another cow is left to Frantz Vögele for: 21 G
He will pay this debt to the children.
One vinegar barrel is left to son Johannes for the estimate of 3 s on this he will give to each child his : 6 d share

Same. One green curtain in hemp toil are left to Johannes for an estimate of 8 s
On this he will give to each : 1 s 5 d
Same. The crops in the barn in corn and barley have been divided among the children themselves in equal shares.
Same. One fiertel wheat has been divided among the children.
Same. About two carriages fodder have been left to daughter Magdalena as she has cared for her ill father, same she will also receive three hen and one goose for her care.

The children have decided further to divide among themselves what is present as green cereals on the fields.

Same. One fiertel cereals is left to Mathis for the estimate or: 3 s
He will repay to each child: 6 d

Same. And last what could be left as immobiliary will be divided among the heirs in full agreement, namely : in district Gefäll and on the way to Haguenau, one side Jacob Strack’s heirs, and for part Andres Vögele.
This has come to Johannes Beck for the amount of: 2 g 6 s
He repays to each child: 4 s

Second lot is to daughter Anna Maria
Same. The third lot to daughter Catharina.
Same. The fourth lot to daughter Mariana.
The fifth lot to Mathis.
The 6th lot to daughter Magalena, near Georg Keysser, other side the heirs, down an ending, up on the heirs of Johannes Bernauer.

So that the children and heirs will have to pay: 46 g 4 s 8 d

In year 1740 14 October have come in front of me in presence of the undersigned provost and witnesses the heirs who declared to tell the truth on all they know in the inheritance and not conceal the smallest in this, and declared then that the present inventory was made to their satisfaction.

Written in true record and by the force of law, this inheritance is accepted by all especially Philip Kieffer provost, the two witnesses and members of justice who undersigned. 14 October 1740.

Inventory and description of all property left by the deceased right honorable and honest HANS JACOB BECKHER, in his time a burgher of Soufflenheim, after his death, and this made on requisition of : 1) MARIA CATHARINA, 2) ANNA MARIA BECKHER, his two daughters by first marriage, in their name compared Car Stettner their guardian; then of BARBARA VÖGL, his widow, and 3) BARBARA, 4) MATHIS BECKER, the two children by last union, represented by their guardian and burgher there (not named, blank) so his widow and four children; after the oath was taken and in presence of: Hans Jacob Scheffter, mayor, Hans Peter Dobler burgher and of the notary Johannes Bernauer in Haguenau; passed in Soufflenheim on the 3rd of May 1711.
