| Don and Frances (Sue) have been researching their family history. The Wiedeman family was originally spelled Wiedemann before my grandfather deleted the second "n". They have been trace back to West Prussia Germany into the 1700's. I believe it was John Wiedemann that imigrated to the USA in 1850 and originally settled in Dayton Ohio. He then moved to Saline County Illinois in the mid 1850's where the family remained for many years. |
