The Family Tree of Peter W. Wielhouwer

The is the first home page for the family tree of Peter Warren Wielhouwer, and it contains the ancestry of my parents and grandparents.

My father is Peter William Wielhouwer, and his parents were Gijsbrecht Wielhouwer (1903-1978) and Aagje van der Jagt (1905-1983), who went more commonly by Bert and Aggie. Gijsbrecht's parents were Johan Daniel Wielhouwer and Antje Buijsse; Aagje's parents were Pieter van der Jagt and Neeltje Lagendijk. Their families lived mainly in the Netherlands until the early 20th century, though Bert's parents' names appear to have originated in Switzerland and France. Parts of this genealogy go back to the mid-1500s.

My mother is Jane Walker Wielhouwer, and her parents were Warren Theodore Anderson (1913-1997) and Mary Ethel Raymond (1917-2005), who went more commonly by Andy and May. Warren's parents were 1890s Swedish immigrants, Johan Edvard Anderson and Anna E. Sandstrand. Mary's parents, Ralph Herbert Raymond and Rose Elizabeth Walker, were a distinctly American blend of English, Irish, and Canadian, including early American families such as the Bacons and Gardiners.
