I am searching for information on my early ancestory's who came to Berks County, Pa., in the mid 1700s. My oldest ancestory is Johan Georg WIESER. Though I have quite a lot of information on his children,. there is some blank areas. For example I do know his wife was Maria Barbara, But I have no idea of her last name or when she was born and died. Of the three children they had, Maria, Jacob and Johannes, I decend from Johannes and have found most of his decedents. However all I have on Maria is that she married Mathias Reisner or Reiser and died sometime around 1800. I have located some data on Jacob decendents but again there are blank area. I am a member of the Berks County Genealogical Society and research their library whenever I am in the Pa area. I was born in Allentown, PA and lived in Maryland with Uncle< Harry Rathburn along with my brother Donald.My father had died in 1941 and my mother in 1945. I have three brothers besides Don and one sister, they are James, Ronald, Martin and Shirley.I have been married to Phyllis Whitney since 10 Aug 1957 and have two children, Robert Jr. and Victoria Lynn. I retired from Government work (NSA) in 1993 and moved to Hamilton Montana in Aug of 1993. My daughter lives with her husband Bill Simmel and their two children. My son and his wife Kimberly Ryan willbe moving to Shelby N,C, in 1997. |
