| In hopes of leaving a family history for my children, grandchildren and generations to come, I have been busy documenting information about my family with the assistance of my mother, Donna Jeanne (Auen) Frank, the many photos and documents in our possession, online resources and as much family input as we can get. As we sorted through the information and original photos, it became clear how important it is to identify everthing possible before the knowledge to identify is lost.... I hope the information we have been able to compile will be of interest to others in our family, as well as our friends. We are very blessed to have had this much family history at our fingertips and memories of things long past to share. May we always remember with love those who brought us here. I have added several links that I would like to share. The first, a memorial to my brother Ray, is very important part of our recent history for all of us to remember. The next two are family web sites for the Peacock and McGilvra families that have helped me from the beginning in my research and identification of individuals in our lineage. My thanks to Doug McGilvra for his continued assistance, as well as Leslie Green, Sharon Knoblock, and others who have responded to my web site with additional knowledge of our past. This continues to be a most satisfying project to work on and I will continue to dig! |
