      2. Daniel Cook, born 1772 in Culbertson's Bottom, Mercer County, Virginia; died 1823 in Culbertson's Bottom, Mercer County, Virginia. He was the son of 4. Adam Cook and 5. Elizabeth Fleshman. He married 3. Rosanna Wilhoit 1792.

      3. Rosanna Wilhoit, born September 26, 1774 in Culpepper County, Virginia; died November 11, 1845 in Hancock County, Indiana. She was the daughter of 6. Daniel Wilhoit and 7. Mary Blankenbaker.

Notes for Daniel Cook:
Daniel and Rosanna died sometime before the 1840 Census. He is buried in the Forest Hills District of Summers County on the Captain Matthew Farley Plantation, later known as the James Dickinson Farm. The site has since been covered by the impounded waters of the Bluestone Dam.
Along with the Farley's, they were some of the original settlers of Pipestem District, Summers County. After the death of her husband, Rosanna moved to Hancock County, Indiana.

  iv.   Annie Cook, born October 11, 1801; died December 14, 1895; married Andrew Farley Abt. 1820.
  v.   David Cook, born September 10, 1802; died July 17, 1877; married Nancy Farley.
  vi.   Dinah Cook, born September 15, 1803; died November 08, 1882; married Gideon Farley 1822.
  vii.   Cornelius Cook, born September 15, 1805 in Crump's Bottom, Mercer County, Virginia; died 1884 in Plymouth Dist., Mercer County West Virginia; married Anna Pettry October 10, 1826.
  Notes for Cornelius Cook:
He owned a large farm at the foot of Bent Mountain in Plymouth District, Mercer County.
