Notes for JOB H. JR LAMLEY: Job H. Lamley Jr became a famous Columbia River Boat Captain. He was in Nome, Alaska in 1900 to 1903. Citation: Tacoma Public Library Union (steamer) The propeller Union was built at East Portland by E. Sorenson for a party of Gray's River farmers, making her trial trip November 2, 1883. Capt. W. P. Dillon and Job Lamley operated her on the lower river for a few years, and she was finally sent to Alaska. E. W.
