Timothy Barnaby II, born 1739 in Provincetown, Barnstable Co., MA1,2; died 3 Dec 1820 and was buried in Chipman Corner, Kings Co., NS3,8. He was the son of Timothy Barnaby and Martha ?. He married Elizabeth Beckwith 4 Nov 1762 in Cornwallis, Kings Co., NS4,5. She was born 28 Jun 1745 in Southington, Hartford, CT6,14, and died 13 Jan 1818 and was buried in Chipman Cnr., Kings Co., NS7. She was the daughter of John B Beckwith and Jean Worden.

Timothy moved from Provincetown between 1741 and 1745 to Lebanon, Connecticut. In 1761 he settled in Cornwallis Township in Nova Scotia and received a 22 acre land grant where he farmed until at least 1786.9,12
