| I am currently focusing my research on two family lines, WILLIAMS and BRADFORD. I got stuck early, on the WILLIAMS line at Seigal "Sig" Francis WILLIAMS born in South/Central Indiana on September 09, 1874 to Nancy KIRK. Sig's father was supposed to be James WILLIAMS but I have been unable document this event or to identify which James WILLIAMS. Sig died October 23, 1926 in Bedford, IN. He Married Laura May WATTERSON on November 01, 1903 in Bedford, IN. They had two children, Mae b: December 16, 1907 and Clay b: September 23, 1909. Seeking any information on Sig's ancestry (paternal and maternal). I got a little further back on the BRADFORD line. Thomas BRADFORD b: March 28, 1780 in Orange County, North Carloina d: April 16, 1841 in Greene County, IN. He married Martha A. GARRISON in Orange, NC on February 13, 1804. She was born abt. 1779 in Orange Co., NC., and died January 26, 1840 in Greene County, IN. I am also researching the surnames; MIKELS, TERRELL(TYRRELL), TROGDEN, ANDERSON, THOMAS, LOCKENOUR(LAGENAUER), MASON, and WHITTED. The research currently focuses on these families in southern and south central Indiana in the early and mid 1800's. Specific counties include, Lawrence, Greene, Orange, Daviess and Washington. Any information received would be welcome. I would also be willing to share information on the over 2300 names currently in my family file. |
