| I'm researching the following surnames: WILLIAMS, SWINTON, LEITCH, STOWELL, SCHUPPENHAUER, PETERS, BLOCK, KRUSE, NEWMAN, all Cattaraugus County, Western New York State. WILLIAMS from Vermont, 1800's. STOWELL from Massachusetts, 1600's. DeBRUCE and HILL possibly from Kentucky, 1800's. LEITCH and SWINTON from Scotland, 1800's. SCHUPPENHAUER, PETERS and BLOCK from Germany, 1800's. I am especially interested in the LYMAN WILLIAMS family who came from Vermont to Western New York State around 1844. LYMAN'S wife was BULAH, and their children were SOLOMON, JOHN, ALMERA, ORSON and JERUSHA. |
