5. ETHEL⁵ WILLIAMS (CHARLES SIDNEY⁴, PERRY C.³, WILLIAM², ROBERT¹) was born September 2, 1900, and died May 17, 1982. She married FRANK DOWNEY. He was born March 16, 1886, and died September 1967.

Notes for ETHEL WILLIAMS:
Worked for years as Sales Clerk at the Chadron Cattle Sales Pavilion. She also worked many farm sales where she picked up many of the antiques she sold.

6. FLOYD FRANKLIN⁵ WILLIAMS (CHARLES SIDNEY⁴, PERRY C.³, WILLIAM², ROBERT¹) was born October 3, 1902 in Greenfield, Dade Co., Missouri, and died February 1986 in Grand Island, Hall Co. Nebraska. He married SADIE LOUISE CARLSON 1927, daughter of JOHN CARLSON and JENNIE HEDSTROM. She was born October 21, 1907 in Newcastle, Weston, Co, Wyoming, and died September 1, 1984 in Grand Island, Hall Co, Nebraska.

Notes for FLOYD FRANKLIN WILLIAMS:
Worked on his father Sid's Ranch at Ardmore, So. Dak and Node. Wy. until he was about thirty.

From that time on he ran sales barns, ran gambling rooms and raced horses.

He also rode broncs in the rodeo. On one occasion he rode a bronc with his broken arm in a cast.

Notes for SADIE LOUISE CARLSON:
Worked at track kitchens throughout the horse tracks in Ne.. She always took the early morning shift which usually had her up at 4 A. M. in the morning.

She fought her way back from one stroke but succumbed to the second one.

She was always a strong supporter of the family and they could do no wrong in her eyes.

She once walked ten mile round trip on the ranch outside of Node, Wy. to enroll Dean in a country school.

Cause of Death: Stroke
Medical Information: Had two strokes. Also suffered from high blood pressure.

7. DONALD RAY⁵ WILLIAMS (CHARLES SIDNEY⁴, PERRY C.³, WILLIAM², ROBERT¹) was born May 16, 1929 in Harrison, Sioux Co., Nebraska. He married ELAINE RUTH WITT August 31, 1950. She was born July 7, 1931 in Crawford, Nebraska.

Notes for DONALD RAY WILLIAMS:
Donald is the person that did most of the work and stories on the Williams side of the family.

Donald was in the oil discovery business and worked for several large oil companies in Canada, Oklahoma and Texas, including Kerr McGee. He finished his career with Kerr McGee.

In addition to the oil business, Donald and Elaine started a ranching operation in Ofuskee county in eastern Oklahoma. They raised Brangus cattle and pecans on the Swinging W Ranch. (From Sioux County History.)

He married Elaine Witt. They had five children: Charles Sidney III, Steven Ray, Judy Ann, Jeffrey Lee and Donald Darwin.
