Mary Lacy (b. 1776, d. July 25, 1850)

Mary Lacy (daughter of Benjamin Lacy and Judith Christian) was born 1776 in Virginia⁶⁷⁵, and died July 25, 1850 in on Farm,Howard Co.,Mo.Rt 3⁶⁷⁶. She married (1) Robert Terrill on April 3, 1799⁶⁷⁷, son of Edmund Terrill and Margaret Willis. She married (2) John Reuben Terrill on Abt. 1846⁶⁷⁷, son of Edmund Terrill and Margaret Willis.

Notes for Mary Lacy:
After husband died in 1827, she stayed on in Kentucky until 1836, when she moved to Missouri to stay with children. At the age of 71, she married her deceased husband's brother, John, and they both died two years later. John died on Sunday, and she died the following Thursday.

The booklet, "Original Land Purchases of Randolph County, Missouri" by Cecille Taylor Rice, pub. by the Randolph County Historical Society has this on him:

Terrill, Mary on 20 Jul 1839 purchased 40 acres (on p. 29 of land book).
