Anna Fredrika Jongason was born October 24, 1850 in Hjortajo Rodaholm, Sweden⁶⁴⁸, and died May 3, 1910 in On farm near Minden, NE. , One mile north and two miles west⁶⁴⁸. She married (1) Gustave Strand on November 13, 1876 in Burlington, IA⁶⁴⁸. She married (2) Hedstrom.

Was born in Sweden and lived there until November, 1870. She then came to the United States where she settled in Burlington, IA. Anna married for the second time their in 1876 to Gustave A. Strand. The Strands moved to a farm one mile north and two miles west near Minden, NE in Kearney County in 1884.
Strand was a horticulturist and made the place one of the most beautiful in the state. They lived there until their death.
