Rehoboam

Rehoboam (rê²ebo´em), Hebrew king, son of SOLOMON. After Solomon's death (c.922 B.C.) the northern tribes revolted against Rehoboam and set up the kingdom of Israel with JEROBOAM I as their king. Rehoboam continued to rule the southern kingdom of Judah.
