Note: Samuel was captured by the Brittish at the Battle of Lexington on the 19th of April 1775 along with Seth Russel and sent to the prison ship Favorite. His imprisonment lasted for fortynine days. He was exchanged for a Brittish seamen being held prisioner by the colonials. He is listed on a casuality list at Lexington as missing. They were transported to the Favorite by the man of war Admiral and exchanged on June 6, 1775.
