He was a Doctor in Greenville, Tennessee. Came to Texas abt. 1839/40.
the first house of entertainment in Greene County, Tennessee was kept by Robert Carr, who in 1784 erected a house on the north side of Main Street, afterward occupied by Dr. James Isbell. He was a trustee of Greene County 1834-1836.
